Dolait Yoghurt, the popular West African yoghurt brand, has been launched in Nigeria by Sotibe Nigeria. The company is planning to build a factory in the country to accelerate sales.
Dolait Yoghurt, the Cameroonian market leader, has now been formally launched in Nigeria by Sotibe Nigeria. Dolait is a natural and yoghurt that comes in plain and fruit flavours and is sold in pots or as a yoghurt drink.
Dolait was launched in Cameroon in 2002 by Soticam and overtook longstanding market leader Camlait in 2015. The brand is present in Benin, DRC and Ghana, and was also introduced into Nigeria in 2016.
Sotibe Nigeria manufactures Dolait for the Nigerian market in its factory in Cotonou, Benin. The company plans to open a manufacturing facility in Nigeria for Dolait to service the Nigerian market. Sotibe Nigeria was incorporated more than 15 years ago. The current range includes:
- 500g Yogurt in Strawberry, Apricot, Cocktail, Vanilla and Plain
- 125g Yogurt in Strawberry, Apricot, Pineapple, Vanilla and Plain
- 70g Yogurt in Apricot, Pineapple and Strawberry
- 200ml Yogurt in Mango, Strawberry, Vanilla and Banana
