Black and White whisky
Beer and spirits multinational Diageo has begun bottling its Black and White whisky brand in Cameroon, having invested in a portable production unit.

Diageo’s Black and White whisky brand is now being bottled in Douala, Cameroon. Black and White is a blended malt. It is one of Diageo’s leading export whisky brands and is popular in South Africa, India, Venezuela and the Caribbean.

Via its Guinness Cameroon business unit, Diageo has invested in what it calls a portable production unit. It hopes the new unit will allow it to introduce high quality bottling to Cameroon. Cameroon is Diageo’s second most important market after Nigeria: the new production facility is also intended to be used to take on Brasseries du Cameroun (owned by French alcoholic drinks group Castel) in the growing Cameroonian spirits market.
