In partnership with The Coca Cola Company, Rwanda is now operating 50 eco-friendly solar-powered retail hubs across 9 districts as part of the EKOCENTER project. The network began in December 2014 in the East & North Provinces and has grown out into South Provinces as well. It will continue to expand into the West Provinces with the intention of becoming one of the leading retail networks in green and solar products in Rwanda and a year-end goal of “operating even more solar powered retail hubs on the ground.”
