Shop n Save has opened a new store in Adjiringanor, Accra. The new store comes in the context of a major expansion plan announced earlier this year and after the opening of the company’s largest store and flagship supermarket in Adenta, last March.

Shop N Save is targeting the upper middle class and, as such, the new outlet expects to sell leading brands, frozen goods, fresh groceries as well as some electric home appliances. The store will also feature a liquor section with a wide range of wines.

Michael Chambers, Shop N Save’s managing director said one of the retailer’s top priority was to ensure outlets are in close proximity to communities – within walking distance from customers. Mr. Chambers also took the opportunity to announce that new shops we’re opening soon enough in Kumasi, Tamele and in other undisclosed cities in the country. Additionally, the retailer will also launch a loyalty card that will aim at helping frequent customers save more money.
