Distribution Leader Price Madagascar adds new supermarkets in Toamasina and Antananarivo, taking its network up to six stores in the country
Distribution Leader Price Madagascar (DLPM) has opened two new supermarkets in Madagascar. The first of the two, which opened on the 14th November 2017 was in the port city of Toamasina (Tamatave). It is DLPM’s second store outside the capital (the first store outside Antananarivo opened in the northern coastal city of Mahajanga).
The latest store, which opened in early December, is in the Ambatobe area of the capital, Antananarivo. In total, it brings DLPM’s store network to six in Madagascar.
The two new stores each feature a bakery and patisserie section, a fresh meat counter, a charcuterie and cheese counter. As with other Leader Price stores in Madagascar, the new supermarkets will open 7 days a week.
