Angolan cash and carry Angomart opened its sixth store in the Luanda earlier this week in the Viana area.

Angomart, Grupo Noble’s retail chain, just opened its sixth store in Angola. The new outlet has 3,600m² of retail space and offers around 4,000 products.

The retailer was introduced to the Angolan market in 2013 with its first store in Benfica. Until this year it had further expanded to other areas in Luanda, now having stores in Golf 2, Kikolo, Skwanza, Cazenga and Viana. Outside of Luanda, Angomart also has an outlet in Lobito.

The new Angomart store in Viana is the latest development in an expansion plan that started in 2015. In Luanda, another store is under construction in the Fibrex area and the retailer anticipates further expanding its presence outside of the capital. New outlets are planned in Lubango, Malange and the in the enclave province of Cabinda.

Grupo Noble has previously invested in the Viana area of Luanda. Earlier this year, ABC Cosméticos, another of the group’s companies, opened a factory in the region to produce consumer cosmetic products.
