The 41st Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) has started yesterday in Tanzania and exhibitions will run for ten days, until the 8th of July. The event, organized by the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TANTRADE), is expected to attract both industry operators and the general public.

TANTRADE also predicts high levels of competition among the exhibitors which attend the fair in order to win business leads in the local and foreign markets. According to the organization, this should be especially so for East African Community member states who participate in the event to establish new business contacts and promote their products and services.
