The Confederation of Zimbabwean Retailers has just announced the launch of a Retail Price Index. The tool, which will soon be available through the Confederation’s website, will provide consumer’s with a comparison of prices of basic commodities across the main retailers in Zimbabwe.

The Confederation, which is fresh off organizing the International Retailers and Wholesalers Indaba 2017, has not yet given a specific date of when the tool will be ready to go nor did it say if it is going to cover only the biggest retailers in the country, all members of the confederation or if it will be more comprehensive.
