Aswak Assalam has opened a 1,200m² supermarket in Essaouira, its 13th store in Morocco.

Aswak Assalam, the supermarket arm of Ynna Holding Group, has opened its 13th store in Morocco. The new store, on the Route d’Agadir in Ghazoua is the company’s second store in Essaouira. It has a retail floorspace of 1,200m² and a 3,800m² distribution centre that will serve the Haha region.

Aswak Assalam has invested DH16m (US$1.64m) on the new store and distribution centre. The new store will carry 5,000 product lines including both fresh and packaged food as well as non-food items such as clothing and household electricals.
