Total, the French oil company, has inaugurated its first Bonjour Café in Ethiopia. It aims to introduce Total’s established concept of putting a mini supermarket, fast food and café together on the service station forecourt. The new café and store is a collaboration between Total and Ethiopian businesses Safeway Supermarket and Mulmul Bakery.

Added value forecourt retailing is a relatively new concept in Ethiopia. The new café and store is situated in Total’s Gelan service station underneath its head office. It is designed to serve as a prototype for the wider Total network and as a test bed for consumers in Addis Ababa.
